Why was Front Lines Tutoring started?
Front Lines Tutoring was started to alleviate some of the stress put on medical professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in their life at home. Many healthcare workers are being pulled away from their families to help treat coronavirus patients and, consequently, are unable to invest as much time in their children’s education. With school also transferring into online platforms, children of medical professionals are left in uncharted territory that could detrimentally affect their education and academic goals. Front Lines tutoring was developed with the goal of facilitating the academic success and educational pursuits of children whose parents and guardians are being drastically affected by COVID-19. We are here to ensure that the coronavirus pandemic does not impair these children’s ability to learn and achieve academically.
