Meet our executive team.

Mackenzie is a recent Class of 2020 graduate from UCLA with a B.S. in Psychobiology. When Mackenzie moved back home to DFW during the COVID-19 quarantine, she noticed the struggle the students in her local community were undergoing during their transition into online school. This got her thinking about the children of our healthcare workers, and ignited her fire to provide this very necessary tutoring resource. She is excited to take part in the growth of this organization and help as many students as possible continue to achieve their academic goals. Additionally, she hopes to lend a hand and alleviate some stress for our health care workers who are working so diligently to fight the front lines of COVID-19. Mackenzie is very excited to lead Front Lines Tutoring!
Akash is a 4th year student at UCLA majoring in Neuroscience. During his time at UCLA, he has built education-oriented businesses as well as community service organizations from the ground-up and has worked for education companies such as Chegg and Best Delegate. As Vice President, he is responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new parents, building relationships with new hospitals and clients across the country, and helping come up with solutions to the complex problems faced by a new organization. He is excited to join the Front Lines Tutoring team and help ensure that we provide safe, convenient, and high-quality tutoring to the students of healthcare workers during this difficult time.
Angie is a UCLA alumna from the Class of 2018 with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Asian American Studies who currently works as a medical scribe at UCLA Head and Neck Surgery. From a young age, her parents instilled in her the value of education. She previously worked at Northridge Emergency Department and has seen the firsthand sacrifices frontline healthcare workers (providers and support staff alike) have made to provide compassionate care to patients from all walks of life. In light of COVID-19, healthcare workers have continued to provide the best possible care for patients, despite having their own children and family at home. This inspired her to take part in Front Lines Tutoring with the goal of giving back to the healthcare workers who have inspired her in the past.
